Key Responsibilities
- Convert enquiries to sales of high quality tailor-made itineraries and of existing group tours.
- Differentiate between good and bad leads and to maximise revenue and profit.
- Ensure the product sold to our clients and information provided is to the highest standard.Â
- Achieve high levels of client service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business.
- Take appropriate opportunities to up-sell relevant products where appropriate.
- Interact with clients by phone, email, and face-to-face (video calls and trade shows).
- Demonstrate a total commitment to customer service.Â
- Obtaining tour quotations and other required information from DMCs.
- Involvement in the development of TTU product portfolio.
Essential Requirements

- Qualified to degree level or equivalent

Job Purpose:
As a key member of our small team you will be responsible for a broad range of key tasks within the business including dealing with clients and potential clients by phone and email mostly, pre-trip, during the trip and post-trip, preparation of itineraries and trip documentation, dealing with suppliers in a wide range of countries, maintenance of customer management system, managing group communication (newsletters, social media), and dealing with a variety of situations as they occur. We are looking for a long term employee who is willing and able to grow with the role. The role comes with the opportunity for overseas travel to build on current knowledge, and forge new paths in travel.
Key responsibilities:
- Liaising with suppliers from a range of different countries
- Helping clients with pre- and post-trip tour arrangements
- Following up with clients post-trip for feedback
- Invoicing and preparation of trip documentation
- Basic account logging and management of payments
- Answering phone calls, responding to emails and being flexible to work on tasks as they arise
- Helping at trade fairs and travel trade eventsÂ
- Overseas familiarisation trips to expand and develop product knowledge (after completing one year)
- Handling of emergency phone for out of hour calls (on rota basis)
Skills and competencies:
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (fluency in English essential)
- Good IT skills - especially working with spreadsheets. (Word/Excel/Gmail/Google Docs)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in client-facing role
- Knowledge of any of our destinations is an advantage
